This restaurant is a small jewel of the theatre district. The ambiance is consonant for theater goers, with interesting posters of so-called Broadway flops, adorning the walls. The food is tasty without being too luxurious and the service is the best I've had in all of New York City. A definite two thumbs up.

What a fantastic find! Terasa North Ninth manages to fit an acre of atmosphere into a very small space. All the hanging plants and decor made the room feel like a breath of spring in the middle of winter. The food was delicious - I had the lamb shank and my husband had the fettucine, and both were excellent. I had made a special request to sit near the music and we had a prime spot right in front where we could fully enjoy an evening of jazz. Drinks were also above par and I'm very particular about well-made cocktails. We finished things right with a superb espresso martini. I was doubly surprised when we got the bill and it was extremely reasonable for a meal that included appetizers, entrees, dessert and drinks. We will be back!

Our server Jean made our experience wonderful. The hospitality to the wait time for food was amazing. We didn’t wait long for our food and constantly checked on my daughter and myself. I will definitely bring my friends and family here to this location, as long as we get Jean again.
