It is always lovely to visit Highwood; the culinary students are doing a great job. The menu are well presented by the server, who is always kind and polite. The food presentation was spot-on and beautiful. I had the salad Nicoise / Spinach dip and a Mushroom pizza, and all tasted good. The only comment I would have today is the Mushroom pizza was a bit on the dry side, and my "personal" choice is always to give the mushroom a quick saute before adding to the pizza, but it was ok. Not the last visit :-)

Great food at an excellent price! I tried the local slow-cooked lamb shoulder, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals as well. Broken Plate truly offers excellent value for a wonderful dining experience!

The food and service were both outstanding . The relaxed ambience added to our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We had a great night celebrating my good friend’s birthday. Tried the tomahawk for the first time, cooked perfect! Side dish of asparagus also awesome. Great service from Marc, and Laura. Thanks for making this a memorable visit.

Lobster rolls were terrible. Wait staff was lovely. Most of the food was pretty good.
