Il Capriccio serves a constantly changing Northern Italian menu featuring local products with an award winning Italian wine and Grappa list. Though long considered a local secret, Il Capriccio has been the number one Northern Italian restaurant in Zagat's for the past seven years.     Busy Valentine night at Capital Grill but the meal and service didn’t disappoint. Matthew is a great waiter and the steak, salmon and the wine were fantastic. There aren’t many guarantees in dining but the Capital Grill never fails to impress.

    The food was wonderful, waitress and bartender very attentive as well as front of house. Our table was next to the open kitchen and we enjoyed that as well. Only criticism is that the online menu needs to match the daily menu.

    Once again, a lovely experience! Having not been to 75 Chestnut for some years, I was delighted to see that it was still as inviting as always. The service was attentive and the food delicious - the menu has both classics and newer offerings, with something for everyone. We were not rushed, which was nice since we ended up spending 2+ hours there! Price points are competitive and you really cannot go wrong here, particularly when looking for a cozy spot on a winter's night, with a beautiful neighborhood right outside the door.

    We are frequent diners at the Capitol Grille and are never disappointed in the quality of service and the food. Last night we celebrated my wife’s 81st birthday and we were waited upon by Diego Ojeda who did it absolutely wonderful job of making us feel welcome and attending to our needs. As usual, we have the 10 ounce filet mignon our favorite salads, and matching wines. We appreciated the quiet booth and the special dessert celebrating my wife’s birthday. We look forward to returning soon.
