Best Quality Daughter houses a vibrant, chic décor and new, unique Asian-American menu. In 2018, chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, wanting to address the sparsity of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas, developed a new concept through a series of pop-up dinners called Best Quality Daughter with fellow chef Anne Ng and artist Jennifer Ling Datchuk. Today Best Quality Daughter is located in the historic Mueller House at the Pearl Brewery. The restaurant is decorated adorably. The foot was excellent we love the spice and the rice was so good. Also recommend the Brussels sprouts. The service was excellent and food was delivered on time. Oh the drinks were delicious.

The waiter was very good. The chef wouldn’t do as I would have liked as far as replacing the Caesar salad with the spinach salad (which was basically the same price if ordering separate) as a soup salad combo. Didn’t like the fish and chips, smash burger or fish sandwich but the clam chowder, the Caesar salad and the shrimp mac & cheese was very good.
