Mimi’s Bakehouse is a second-generation family business established in Edinburgh in 2010, when Michelle Phillips sold her family home to open a bakery café in Leith. We have gone on to build a local success story brand that gives people a ‘hug when they walk in the door’ as the original café has since doubled in size and the business has gained five more shops, a successful website selling cakes online and a concession at Archerfield Walled Garden. We also opened an industrial bakery in March 2020, out of which most online trade is produced for fulfilment. Mimi’s Bakehouse has become one of Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries and an award-winning brand which is a well-known “feel good” place to visit, while remaining small enough to go the extra mile and try new things.We serve brunch, afternoon tea, coffee and cake.

At Coro we believe chocolate should be a fun and sharing experience. We don’t claim to be master chocolatiers, in fact its quite the opposite. Our aim is to give customers their chocolate fix but not just from your standard bar of chocolate.     Whenever I'm in a city with a Hawksmoor I jump at the chance to eat there. With being in Scotland they had cuts from highland cattle so couldn't resist a prime rib. The food is always amazing and the staff are passionate about their jobs. Hawksmoor Edinburgh is in a grand building with a lot of history you can learn about from a leaflet they have available.

    We had an amazing time - have been more than once and the service and quality of food (steak!) was excellent and value for money. Our waiter Luca was fantastic, he really looked after us and made a fuss of my other half whose birthday it was. Thankyou so much Luca! We look forward to coming again.

    We visited Coet Brasserie in Edinburgh for their Christmas Festive Menu, and it was fantastic! The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor, showcasing real creativity. The wine and drinks selection was excellent, perfectly complementing the festive meal. What truly stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home.     Really enjoyed the festive afternoon tea, lots of great savoury nibbles as well as delicious cakes. Very relaxed atmosphere and we weren’t hurried.
