Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. Chez Zee was lovely as usual. It’s Christmas time and it is decorated for Christmas. Great ambiance. Lots of twinkle lights. I love it. The service was excellent. The food is delicious. I went for dinner and had the jalapeno stuffed chicken. Yummy. They have a large menu with a variety of food. I do recommend Chez Zee. They do a fantastic brunch too.

Unbelievable. Every moment was special and every flavor built upon the last. Having celiac, they made the experience seamless and I felt perfect after. Very full and perfect. Loved the deviled eggs, beef tartare, lobster bisque, Caesar, wagyu filet, the chocolate dessert, and the crème brûlée 🍮 Thank you for impeccable service and care.

Superb food, and great service. I took a group here on Christmas Eve, and we loved everything. Our server, Alec, was helpful and properly attentive. We shared the deviled eggs, which everyone agreed were the best they've had. Many enjoyed the Wagyu Cheeseburger, while others had the Crisply Chicken Thighs and Slow-Cooked Beef Shoulder. It was all superb, and the Bearnaise sauce with the fries was brilliant. Highly recommended!

Overall The Grove is amazing. They pick great locations! Patios in the trees are excellent. The food is reliable and service great. The interior of the NW Hills location looks like a Panera Bread chain location. They could have done better on the decor but it doesn’t matter if you have a great lunch guest and a great bottle of wine!
