The Blackbird Bar and Restaurant, at 37-39 Leven Street in the Bruntsfield area of south-west Edinburgh, serves modern Scottish cuisine. It is located close to The Meadows public park, less than 10 minutes by car or taxi from Waverley and Haymarket Railway Stations; Edinburgh Castle and the city centre are around 20 minutes' walk away. The exposed stone walls of its traditional, tavern-like interior give it an authentically Scottish atmosphere and it also has a beer garden in which to enjoy an al fresco drink or bite to eat in the warmer summer months. Found whilst walking on the Royal Mile, it was a great discovery. Very cosy ambience, large plates and a vast selection of delicious cocktails. We had a really nice time!

I took my partner here for their birthday dinner. Sora Lella is always our go-to on special occasions - we had a lovely time! The staff made it a gorgeous night and put a birthday candle on our dessert! Will endlessly recommend Sora Lella <3
