The location spans 1,700 square feet, seats 50 inside and 20 people on the patio and will feature a California – Italian menu. Burrell is lovely. We enjoyed the mushroom and sunchoke main, and the black cod, although the delicacy of the black cod oyster chowder was over powered by the earthy umami of the mushroom dish. Should have asked our server about the combo. corn bread amazing as always. waffle and chicken liver was the hit of the night. The fried cauliflower and broccoli was decent. Not the best. We were full by the time our mains came! Wish we would have saved room for desert!

I can’t think of a single thing bad to say about the black cod I ordered. It was perfectly prepared. It was absolutely perfect with a glass of Sancerre. Attentive easy-going wait staff. I will return just for that dish again. Thank you!

The Oakland Bramble cocktail was delicious. The service was impeccable. It was a bit cold inside the restaurant. My Spanish tortilla could have been warmer. My husband was pleased his burger was delicious and fries fresh and portion large! The panna cotta for dessert was delicious.
