We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. “A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. Really enjoyed the Shisha lounge with and live music/ dj, they made me feel special on my birthday. After we had the table for 2 hours we had to leave, so I wish we would have been able to stay in the venue and not have to re queue to enter. Other than that it was good vibes and I’ll be back!

The service here was good, staff were super helpful and lovely. The food was great, the steak tartar was amazing. The sauce for the pork was a bit sweet for my liking but the pork itself was cooked perfectly.

Finally managed to get a table at Blacklock and it was absolutely worth the effort. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, steak and burgers we've had in London. Bone marrow was incredible. Cheesecake was heavenly! Service and ambience were energetic and attentive. Definitely will be back!
