This long-established restaurant in Ealing is known affectionately by its customers as “Mrs Chow’s” in homage to the lady in charge of the cooking, who believes in using fresh, natural ingredients. Feeling adventurous? Swap sesame prawn toast for “shredded jellyfish with three delicacies” or “frog’s leg in black bean sauce”. If not, don’t worry – you’ll do just as well with traditional starters like satay chicken or sweet-and-sour won ton.     We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Lanesborough. The selection of teas was great and quite different, the sandwiches and sweets were lovely and their presentation was fantastic and the overall atmosphere, paired with the piano playing, was wonderful. Every single member of staff we encountered were super friendly and welcoming and made the experience really memorable. Can't wait to return!

    Lovely lunch here today. Some of us had starters as mains, others had the classic fishcake. All delicious and we shared the chocolate bomb to finish. Our waiter was great and as usual all the staff were welcoming and friendly. We miss Jean Francois though! Will be back soon

    Izgara thank you for making our reunion meal enjoyable, entertaining and memorable. With the majority being vegetarian we couldn’t opt for the meat platter, but there was a broad selection of Veg mezzo and plenty of other options. We had a great meal topped off with dessert. As we were about to go a surprise Turkish tea came out so thank you Izgara.

    Its my local restaurant and have been going for many years food is always fresh hot and flavourful. Highly recommend starters Beans whick is cooked in a very light tempura batter, duck with pancakes,spring rolls.prawn toast,ribs and seaweed. Buy individual portions not the platter.
