Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Another outstanding tasting menu at lunch time. My table of three was delighted with every delicious course, served by charming staff in a very light and comfortable restaurant with beautiful decor. It could not be faulted. Very much equivalent to a two star restaurant but bizarrely TFT does not appear on the list at all - seems strange with all the plaudits that this French restaurant receives.

We were 15 minutes late and after contacting them got no issue, the service people were excellent, the food was fantastic and very promptly serve for a rather large order. It was the first experience with my son going to a proper sushi restaurant and he didn’t disappoint. We write it together 9.9 out of 10.

Food is fantastic. Probably closer to 2 Michelin Star than it is to no stars. Quiet dining room, but nice warm cosy fire, and very friendly front of house. Set Menu also fantastic value, considering the quality and tase of the food, and the effort that goes into it.

The staff were outstanding and went over and above during the meal. The food was great and being able to have a vegan desert was an added bonus.
