Scalini Fedeli was opened by chef-owner Michael Cetrulo in 1995 and very quickly became New Jersey's highest rated Italian restaurant. As usual, had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Ristorante MV! From the ambiance that’s warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort to the staff that’s attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring every detail of our meal was impeccable…amazing. The food was phenomenal — each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The veal piccata was a standout, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Always get spicy rigatoni too! Ristorante MV is a true gem, offering an authentic and memorable culinary journey. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Seated on the upper level of the dining room we had a grand view of the Tiffany ceiling, and it was much less noisy than the main floor or the red dog. At the close of the meal we were serenaded by the wonderful Brynn Stanley and her pianist, and we spent a happy hour post meal listening to them perform holiday and jazz favorites. A great way to begin the last weekend before Christmas!
