Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats.     Great food with well thought out combinations. Had the Lamb Pita that was outstanding. Our server Lukas, was well versed to the menu and even asked for any allergies to help in selections. Great overall experience.

    I loved this place! The service was excellent and fast. The waiter who served us was good the kitchen is open so you can see how the food are. Everything tasted very good, the x mas decoration is ok

    My husband and I decided to grab an early lunch while we were picking up a Christmas dinner order in the area. I had no idea that there was a sister restaurant to Clyde’s. I have been to the location in DC, and I really enjoyed it there. So, I figured I would have the same experience, and I was right. The food is delicious, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t even need to ask for refills; a replacement drink was on the table before we could even think to ask. Now, that is some stellar service! We will return with friends, and I have already recommended to a friend who is also a fan of Clydes in DC. Happy holidays!

    Yet another lovely evening celebrating the holidays at chez Francois! A Christmas tradition in our family; we look forward to it every year and are never disappointed. Indulge in the Christmas specials (the Wellington is to die for), and enjoy the festive and perfect service and atmosphere. 10 out of 10!
