Arielle's Country Inn, located on Allentown Road, is housed in a beautifully appointed, historic, stone building dating back to 1754. Used as a stagecoach stop in the 18th century, the restaurant still retains that warm country atmosphere. Chef/owner, Jacques Colmaire, uses locally sourced, fresh, high quality ingredients to skillfully prepare food for you to enjoy. Diners can choose from Prime steaks, fresh seafood, pasta and other specialities which are all cooked to order and served in a romantic, candlelit dining room, enhanced with a fireplace and cozy bar. Our restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed beams and a mission-style décor, as well as a bar, several gas-burning fireplaces and two semi-private rooms for small functions of eight to 10 guests. Our eclectic menu features innovative American Regional fare, a delightful selection of appetizers, an array of daily specials, a carefully selected wine list and Sunday brunch. We believe in using the freshest ingredients possible, while supporting local suppliers. Our crab cakes especially, have gotten rave reviews – moist, tender, abundantly flavorful, packed with jumbo crabmeat and no fillers – and never breaded or fried! Our event facility can host meetings, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, luncheons and weddings. It offers an elegant pre-function room for hosting the cocktail hour and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 guests with a veranda overlooking the private lake.

We use local suppliers for high quality ingredients including produce from Lancaster, a local Butcher and Seafood supplier. Our service and food compare with anyone’s. We had a table of 6 for a Christmas dinner 6pm 14DEC. It was crowded but not overly crowded and they had Christmas music playing in the background. Everything looked amazing and tasted great. There was talk about being a little bit overly salted. As far as price, 7 drinks, 6 apps, 6 meals, and three desserts came to just over $425. The two reasons it isn’t a five star is the salty taste but more for me personally is the 3% up charge if you use a credit card! That really upsets me.
