During these trying times, we are trying to adjust our service so that customers feel safe but still have a great Ki's experience. Daytime service is as it always has been: order at the counter and the food will be brought to you in the seating area we have created outside under the tents. Night-time is full service. Sunday through Thursday is upstairs. The tables are spaced far apart and there is an option of being out on the front deck for parties of two. On Friday and Saturday, we will be offering full service in both seating areas of upstairs and under the tents outside. Ki's is a perfect fit for its local beach community culture. The service and the hospitality was excellent, the ambiance was amazing, but the food was terrible and extremely overpriced. We paid $225 a person for a terrible meal that tastes awful, was horribly salty, and should not have cost more that $100 a person. Way overpriced meal.

Could not have asked for a better Christmas dinner! Watching the sunset, with great food and drinks! 10/10 recommend. We are going to come back for the normal menus because the Christmas choices were amazing!

Dined here on Christmas Eve. We were seated promptly and cheerfully by our lovely hostess whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t note. Our server, Marcie G., promptly arrived table side and was such a breath of fresh air - cheerful, knowledgeable, and friendly - making our experience most enjoyable. Food was excellent as well.

South of Nick’s for Christmas Eve was excellent as it usually is throughout the year. Food was delicious, and service was outstanding from start to finish. It is one of San Diego’s finest Mexican restaurants!
