Sakura Yakiniku is proud to be the first Japanese restaurant that provides an authentic smokeless barbecue restaurant by Hampton Court, Surrey, just a short walk from the historic Hampton Court Palace. The most unique feature of YAKINIKU is that the meat will come to you RAW! You get to grill it all by yourself. We have a selection of traditional and complementary dishes to suit all including imported Japanese top grade WAGYU beef, British premium steak beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and a selection of vegetables, with our special home-made sauce.We only want the best, so our grills are imported all the way from Japan. The best part of this is that with their unique cutting-edge technology alongside the down draft vent system, the smoke is sucked under the table and away from our guests so the grill is smokeless. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. We also have two outside areas, a perfect spot for a drink or bite whilst watching the world go by.

Even with the many glowing reviews and my high expectations - I was still pleasantly surprised! The service was kind, the food perfectly seasoned, generous portions, reasonable pricing… The restaurant itself has a lot of natural light, tasteful decor and is very clean. Highly recommended!
