Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. Oma's Hideaway is a vibrant, maximalist restaurant inspired by the life and spirit of Chef Thomas Pisha Duffly's grandmother, Kiong Tien “Tina” Vandenberg. Her ability to adapt, to make the most out of limited resources, and to stay creative while projecting warmth and brightness is the guiding force behind Oma’s Hideaway.Born during the pandemic as a pop-up in the Gado Gado parking lot, Oma’s became a permanent beacon of iridescent light in Portland’s Richmond neighborhood in 2021. The menu draws from Tina’s life story, taking influence from the craveable, soul-satisfying hawker food of Singapore and Malaysia and “turning up the volume” with exaggerated yet balanced flavors in Chef Tom’s signature style. Oma’s serves dinner accompanied by a seasonal list of hand-crafted cocktails and zero-proof drinks.

Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous Fried Chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

    Very nice workers & cute place. Loved the chilled strawberry soup & sandwiches. Scones were a little dry and hard but everything was good overall. The teas are the best!

    staff was super nice! it was super super busy up until close for valentines day and most everyone had apparently been working doubles or close to. our chef had been at work for 14 hours and was still super kind and friendly! i was surprised to only wait 10 min to be sat considering how busy it was. our server was very attentive and polite. the manager stopped by our group to say thank you and happy valentines day. very welcoming environment! i hope everyone got enough breaks and time to breathe <3

    I took my fiance here for Valentine's day. I had never been here before. The staff was amazing and attended to every need. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. I would recommend it to anyone.

    It was nice but the staff seemed stretched thin. The music kept getting loud where I couldn’t even talk to my wife. The tables were very small trying to fit as many people in a very small place. The food was great but I felt like everyone was crammed in.

    The service was outstanding! Happy Hour menu was great for cocktails and appetizers. Ordered dinner off the regular menu which was very good and considering the large portions and quality of the food, a good value. Would come again.
