Gale's Restaurant is a totally local Pasadena spot for delicious Northern Italian fare, tucked away from the tourist chains in Old Town.     If perfection exists, then dinner at The Royce was perfection. Environment, ambiance, service, and menu - not a false note. Do not want to recommend too highly as to avoid it being overrun by the masses. What a great place to have had Christmas dinner.

    My husband and I had Christmas Day breakfast there as it was included as a special for staying the night at the Langham. Customer service was outstanding as everyone was attentive and courteous. The food was good and hit the spot for breakfast. I did wish there was more combination plates so that the items I wanted didn't need to be added. There was an all you can eat brunch option but I was afraid I couldn't eat that much and it wasn't worth the $59 for me. Very much a family atmosphere in the restaurant which was fine. The view of the hotel and pool was nice and the restaurant was beautiful as everything at the Langham was just amazing. We would definitely come back to have a nice meal.

    Christmas Eve--pretty busy of course but everyone in good sprits and relaxed. Sat inside in te back room which was comfortable. Service attentive and friendly, drinks prepared well and the food was terrific. Love coming to Gale's!
