Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past.     Last night at Barclay Prime in Philadelphia, PA was magical. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate a family member who is going to a military academy soon. The staff was attentive to this and surprised her with a small cake with a candle on it, and "congratulations" was written on the plate they served her the cake in. This was a very nice touch, it surprised our family member, and left her with a core memory and boost during such an important and special time in her life. Thank you Barclay staff for a wonderful experience.

    Boyfriend and I went and split three dishes, which came recommended from a server. Onion soup, warm shrimp salad, and the steak frites. Everything was fantastic. We ordered our steak medium, and it came out very medium rare. Our server returned it, the manager came out and apologized. They returned with a corrected steak and more frites. Definitely recommend eating the frites with the steak in one bite. Good one their own but together- chef’s kiss! All of the food was incredible, and felt like we were back in Paris for an hour. Only critique would be for the bread to come warm to the table, or the butter to be softened so it could easily spread on the bread.

    We enjoyed lunch in the bar at table near window away from crowd and noise. Food and service were excellent. Cozy atmosphere. We will definitely return for lunch in the future.

    Fabulous meal, with choices of food and wine meticulously explained. This dinner was immediately added to our top ten list of global dining experiences which include numerous Michelin starred restaurants. We highly recommend opting for the wine pairings with each dish, which not only delivered classic selections but also introduced us to wines we will seek out for our own cellar.

    I cannot recommend The Love enough…the food was excellent! Everything we ordered was superb! The drinks were delicious and unique. The service from everyone start to finish was top notch. I really liked the feel and look of this establishment, it’s inviting and warm. The music selection was complimentary. The crowd is a nice mix of people. Clean, spacious restrooms too! I LOVED everything! Can’t wait to go back
