Great service by Ron and the entire team. We had a high-top table and everything went smoothly. We were there for my birthday and found a "Happy birthday" sign at our table. It's our first time to Moxie in a while, and we agreed we should go back more often. I had the short ribs and my wife had the pasta with sausage and vodka sauce. All the entrees come with a soup or salad, so the value is better than it might seem at first glance. The portions were large, and we took some home for dinner tomorrow night. You may not need a starter unless you're very hungry. The wine list was thoughtfully chosen, with good choices by the glass and you can get samples if you don't know what you want.

We got there earlier than our reservation, so we sat at the bar for a while. The bartender was very engaging and we had great conversation. We sat early, it was Saturday evening and they weren't very busy. The server was very attentive and cheerful. They meals were great, I had the Weiner Schnitzel, my wife had the beef rouladen. Of the three German restaurants in the area we have been to, this was by far the best rouladen (Per Mrs.) and her dad was a German chef so she knows her rouladen.

We were celebrating our anniversary and a birthday. There was a card on our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waitress, Kate, was friendly. helpful and knowledgeable. We started with fried calamari, which was prepared perfectly. My husband had the 4-oz filet mignon and I had the starter-size Nantucket scallops and a salad. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The view of the lake and the museum completed a perfect celebration event.

We had an excellent experience. Our server was delightful and did a great job of answering all of our questions and steering us towards wonderful selections. Our choices were delectable and delicious. Our drink and dessert choices were great compliments to our entree selections.

Celebrating yet another anniversary in one of the finest restaurants Milwaukee has to offer! This place is the crown Jewel of the Bartolatta family of restaurants. From the staff to the food, simply the best!!!!!
