Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson, selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Fantastic from start to finish. Sure it’s pricey, but it was worth every penny, from the second they take your coat at the door, through the many courses, and being sent home with a box or rolled back to your car due to the amount of food. Our server was able to instantly answer our requests for recommendations across different courses, including a perfect wine pairing that balanced different meals and palates for myself and my wife. Top notch, will return, and recommend to anyone willing to foot the bill.

We looked forward to our return visit back to Jacques' Brasserie and it did not disappoint. The service by Angelica was perfect and the food was as well. We enjoyed the Onion Soup Gratinee and the Brasserie Burger with Frites were super. We planned what we ate with a view to ordering the Grand Marnier Souffle, which was worth a trip in itself. We look forward to returning.

Go every year for Thanksgiving we had Prime Rib,& Salmon with all the fixings Brought a Turkey dinner home for Friday Leftovers. Choose your main course & Pie deserts selections on menu every meal comes with stuffing potatoes cranberry sweet potato ect. Will be back next Thanksgiving

We took our daughter and grandson to our favorite restaurant the day before Thanksgiving and once again, great meals. Next year, I think we will order the CH Thanksgiving meal to go (: Kayla was a delightful server.

It is a great restaurant from top to bottom. Wonderful appetizers through main entree through desert. They could update the glasses of wine choices. Also they should slow down the serving between courses by about 5 to 10 minutes.
