Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. Besides the food being the best around…prime rib truly melts in your mouth …the employees there are such great human beings! This was my mom's and my favorite restaurant. This was my first time dining without her. But instead of a sad night, my waiter, Ashely, and the staff went above and beyond for me when I came in on one of their busiest nights to honor my late mother and best friend. The compassion and kindness Ashely and her manager Peter showed me was unbelievable!! They are wonderful human beings and showed me that there are still wonderful people in the world.
