Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios.     Another wonderful meal at Delfina :-) We’ve been customers for 25 years, and this group of nine had a spectacular dinner. The food, the service, the ambiance — all excellent! The team at Delfina always delivers, and it was a delight to celebrate with them once again :-)

    This place is great - would definitely come back here. My boyfriend and I got the chicken for two, shoestring fries and squash soup. Fries were so delicious and was perfect to snack on with the various dips they sent as we drank our wine. Soup was delightful with really fresh ingredients but of course, the star of the show was the chicken. Loved the chicken and want to make it at home for myself. Service was excellent - friendly, attentive and hospitable. We stayed for a while and are excited to go back. Didn’t get dessert because we were so stuffed!

    Excellent service from beginning to end. Our waiter was superb. Food was heavenly as always. Always a special treat to celebrate occassions here. Disappointed though they don’t do the complimentary birthday desserts anymore. We ordered desserts but HOPR used to also do a fun little free birthday dessert for the birthday guests.
