Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. The food here is insane! From the bread to the olive oil and olive dip they give to go with it…so good. I had the ravioli and my husband the lasagna and they were outstanding! This is a new favorite I now have. The only thing I don’t love, but it is just what is, is the closeness of tables and noise level. However, I would sit with someone else to get a table here! Make reservations!!!

Everything was fantastic. I hadn’t been here in 11 or 12 years but it was just as wonderful an experience as it was back then. Endless bread, attentive waiters, great selection of drinks, what more could one ask for?
