We arrived significantly early for dinner. 6.50 instead of 19.30. The waiters were very welcoming and seated us anyway. They explained the small plates menu and made suggestions. They were efficient in taking orders and supplying the food. For the 1st course my partner and I shared the Feta, Humous and the Sourdough Garlic Bread. They were delicious. For main my Partner has Scallops and we shared a Chicken and Sausage dish and steak dish. These were delicious. The steak was perfect. The music was just the right level, not to loud to distract, but just enough I could enjoy. Highly recommend and I would return.

Fantastic place. Food amazing, friendly and attentive staff and lovely ambience. I had the BBQ chicken with macaroni cheese served on a waffle. Amazing taste. And big amount. Would certainly recommend trying. Thanks for a lovely meal.

I’m a regular visitor to the Queens Arms and booked a table for my wife and I so we could have a drink and watch Wales’ World Cup qualifier on Saturday evening. I was disappointed to find that the game couldn’t be shown as the Wi-Fi wasn’t strong enough to support BBC IPLAYER. We stayed for a couple of drinks and had a dessert from the menu while Cage Fighting was shown on all the screens! The Queens is a great place and the service is always excellent, and it remains my go to spot for catching up with friends on a Saturday afternoon, but please sort the Wi-Fi issues, the place and the staff deserve it. Also the removal of a Camden Hells draught lager still annoys me, it was the best pint in town!

We had booked an outside table as this was all that was on offer but Rory was very accommodating and noticed he could place us inside. Such a friendly and welcoming vibe. The music was at just the right level. The place was bouncing but we could still have a conversation. We just had a light bite but the popcorn chicken was to die for and the cocktails are superb. If you like rock, blues, good food and good vibes you’ll love it here

Best venue for pre-rugby food and drink. Great service and atmosphere.
