Wow, what a pleasant surprise. We loved our first visit here. Lively but not too loud, great appetizers and good mains. I wasn’t impressed by the wine list of white ( by the glass overwhelmingly all sav blanc) but Caymus by the glass was good to see. Dessert just order the chocolate. Nice additions with hand cloths and aperitifs. Nice wait staff. We will be back.

I absolutely love this restaurant. We have one server that’s our favorite. I gave it a 4 for the service because of our last visit. Our server was not very attentive until the very end. I will from now on ask for a specific person when we go.

Right away from entering the establishment the level of service was outstanding! I had dropped my girlfriend off at the the door and the staff knew right where she was. Pointed me in the right direction. While waiting for our table we had a drink at the bar & the staff there made great recommendations. Another hostess came to get us for our table. Once we were seated our server fully explained the menu for our first time being there. She was absolutely amazing! We took her recommendations for an appetizer and our steaks were cooked to perfection! The flavor profile was stunning! The level of service was absolutely outstanding! To end our evening experience we got to chat with Santa & Mrs Claus! When leaving the restaurant every staff member thanked us for coming in tonight. We look forward to dining again there! 

This was a Christmas celebration dinner, our aunt and uncle were very impressed with the ambience, service and food. The restaurant was very crowded, but not too noisy. The pork chops were tender and delicious. A very generous serving. The shrimp and scallop pasta was also generous, fresh and lemon-y. The popovers were a perfect first course. The steak salad dish was prepared rare and perfect. The walleye taco bowl had the right amount of spice, sauce and veg. We ordered the bread pudding to share, it was massive, the 4 of us tried but could not finish it. Hazelwood does not disappoint, we can count on it for a warm, laid back, delicious, attentive experience. Highly recommend
