We visit this Tao every time we go to Mohegan sun and we love it! Food and service always top notch. Food comes out super fast though , great if you want to get backed to gambling. That being said our waitress was wonderful last night and I can’t remember her name …meal was so perfectly paced as we were NOT looking to get backed to gambling we were looking for a break from gambling. After many years of excellent meals, I had the best meal ever last night at BHI. The poached oysters and Dover sole were a religious experience. Kyle’s craft cocktails were stellar and it was marvelous to see Glenn and John before they are off on their well-deserved January vacation. AND….Elena was on top form; it’s always a delight to see her. Have a good break and see you in February.

Impeccable. Fun atmosphere. Great cocktails and wine list. Food is executed to perfection. Had the Osso Buco and Foies Gras , it was fantastic. Staff is extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Try the new Hot Chocolate on the dessert menu, it was the best I have ever had.

Everything was great. All 7 of us had great meals and there were no complaints as far as I remember. The ribeye was huge and flavorful. The mac and cheese app was very cheesy with a wonderful hint of smoke flavor. The seafood salad was very tasty as was the oysters on the half shell. I had the honey glazed salmon which was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Service was also very good. Phenomenal experience overall.

Wonderful food, attentive service, but very noisy. Cries out for a carpet or any sound abatement that might allow conversation at a table for 2 to4. Miss the old original Gurney’s corny Italian rococo decor that was a relief from the now ubiquitous “ zen”running to “ Amish “ look of un inviting plain colorless Uber simple gray fixtures. Looks as if it was decorated by Monks who have taken a vow of poverty. Art work is all black, gray and during late fall no view of gorgeous ocean after early sunset. No music either but the noise would drown it out anyway. Very pricey for teensy portions.
