Jacques is our neighborhood go-to. The food is always delicious. Especially enjoyed the beautifully prepared Branzino and the comforting and yummy chicken dinner on this very cold NYC night.

The food was amazing and served with pride and care . The view was spectacular .

Service was incredibly helpful and friendly while not being intrusive. Had spicy cucumber salad, coconut shrimp, shrimp fired rice, and chef's choice sushi. Each was delicious. Restaurant has a really interesting vibe and a sound level allowing for conversation. Exceptional experience.

The setting is cozy with a laid back vibe allowing my friend and me to enjoy our conversation. It was the perfect place to be after seeing the Ailey exhibit at the Whitney Museum. Everything from the drinks to our appetizers to our entrees and dessert was delicious. For my appetizers, I had the crab cake, which was perfect. My friend had the pot of steamed mussels, which were tender and juicy. We both enjoyed the escovich branzino that was amazing. For dessert, the hot apple pie was incredible. Only the service was a little slow, but it was a Thursday evening, only one server was working , and we were not in a rush. Chez Omar is now one of my favorite restaurants! I will be back soon and have already started to spread the word.

Good food with generous portions. Service is friendly and attentive. Dining room is small but not as loud as I expected. Lot of vegetarian options had cheese so check out the menu before you come if you’re vegan. I’m not vegan and enjoyed my meal.
