Bodega is the street level Tavern, that offers no frills cocktails in addition to draft beer and shots. With a reservation, or if allowed admission from the Bartender upstairs, you can experience The Rest. It is a subterranean gem that looks like a bar that Hemingway would have built. Dark wood, taxidermy, old books and plenty of good whiskey. Perfect place for privacy and escaping the world for a minute... Or hours.

Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our shared plates promote a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list. Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life. Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant. That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner. Ed’s training in Bologna, considered the food capital of Italy, and Marco’s upbringing in Palermo, known for its incredible street food, bridge northern and southern Italian culinary tradition in a way that’s never been done in Salt Lake City.

    We visited for my son‘s 15th birthday, along with his kindergarten-age twin sisters. Emily was absolutely fantastic. She was patient in describing everything to the Littles, well making sure my son and I were also taken care of. Drinks were filled promptly and even customized based on preferences. Anything we asked for, they were went out of their way to accommodate. They even provided him with a birthday strawberry, complete with candle, so he could blow out his candle. Emily even sang with us. Since it was the girls’ first visit there, the manager stopped by and gave them a couple of chocolate dipped marshmallows to take home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from a fantastic restaurant, and they definitely made a lifelong impression for the kids in addition to myself. Thank you!

    Our server was beyond amazing. She was cheerful, informative, professional, and took initiative to make sure our order arrived with enough time to leave for our show following dinner. Additionally, all of the dishes (and beverages) we ordered were absolutely fantastic. It’s clear this restaurant knows what it’s doing, has good leadership, and the staff is happy. We’ll done, guys 👏

    Great spot with great shared bites! Went with friends and shared fries, bread, gnocchi, Mac & cheese, and the sausage pizza and couldn’t be more happy with how delicious everything was! Definitely will be back!

    Excellent food (wowza on the beer can chicken) and great ambiance - so fun to look through the vinyl and play your favorites. Our server Maddy was great too!
