Toku’s cuisine is predominantly Japanese with influences from China, Korea, and South East Asia. Ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world create the Modern Asian menu. Owners Gillis and George Poll have dined all over the world, and have come across a variety of dishes that have really impressed them, “the best of the best.” According to Gillis, “We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them.” George emphasizes the menu’s ease and variety. “It’s a straightforward, casually written menu which allows you to dine any way that you’d like.” Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert, or dine exclusively on sushi. Others can order cocktails and a table full of appetizers and skewers to share. “The menu is set up for sharing,” he confirms. Anything goes when ordering at Toku.

Last night was our first time at your restaurant. We have friends that love it there so we decided to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner there. Nothing disappointed! Nothing fancy, but the food was good, prepared well and fresh. The wait staff was friendly, prompt and responsive. As this is a responsibly priced restaurant, it attracts families, so it can get a bit noisy with kids, along with music and overhead TV monitors. An excellent place for a reasonable night out for family interested in good food with good company!
