Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. We had a fabulous evening with Caitlin as our waitress extraordinaire. She always makes us feel like we are a special guest. She also makes sure that our meal is exactly the way we love to have it. We love Culinary Dropouts.

We live out of state and wanted to take my mom out to a great dinner while we were in Denver. We went there with high expectations based on the reviews and my wife being from northern Italy and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. Our tajarin con conigelio was one if the highlights of the evening.
