Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes. The global cuisine experiments with a bevy of different flavors including unique items such as Grilled Panzanella Salad (jumbo lump crab, toasted focaccia, local goat cheese, pistachios, plum wine vinaigrette), Kobe Beef Sliders (seared foie gras, pomme frittes). A gluten-free menu is also available along with a popular weekday happy hour from 5 to 6:30 pm.

One Barrel has prepared intriguing gourmet dinner menus that will delight foodies as well as those of you who just love good-tasting food. We're confident you wont get bored with our selections; we will be serving a rotating seasonal menu with daily specials. The One Barrel standards will allow nothing less than fresh, high-quality offerings, including Colorado ingredients as much as possible. Due to Covid-19 we will do our best to have all we can in stock but our menu will be limited and on first come first serve. Unfortunately placed right next to a large party doing a white elephant gift exchange so it was really loud and hard to enjoy the ambience of date night.... but the food and service were excellent!

Great location close to Union Station and downtown Denver. The staff were the best and very attentive and knowledgeable. From a quiet happy hour setting to a friends night out I would highly recommend.

Amazing food, service and ambiance and great recs from our server! We did rainbow, XXX, California, and the veggie California rolls, amazing Tofu entree (most delicious ever and veggies prepared to perfection), salmon and tuna sashimi, with the show stopper of the Big Kahuna roll. Loved the ambiance with families and friends of all ages out and about and a world-class culinary and service team. Can’t wait to come back!
