Merchants serves Scottish cuisine in one of the most bustling areas of Edinburgh. Up market restaurant in Edinburgh. Small portion tapas style plates, beautifully executed. We particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon, the BBQ broccoli, and the crab on crumpet. The venue and staff made for a lovely evening in Edinburgh.

We didn't eat but food looked and smelled lovely. The staff are brilliant and made our evening absolutely lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer but had a dinner engagement to get to. Will definitely return.

Fantastic food, great service. From the Haggis Spring roll to the Chocolate pave each course was superb. Decent and well priced wine list too. A great date night for my wife and I.

Cold town house is a beautiful atmosphere and the staff were incredible. Our server Amy was so lovely and bubbly, she recommended cocktails which were absolutely divine !! Overall we loved the food the drinks and the staff.

Not enough superlatives- I was dubious when the ceviche came out last but it was a stroke of genius by the chef - a wonderful palate cleanser to end the small plate selection perfectly - cannot recommend enough - would definitely return!
