Shinsei is a great dining choice for all Dallasites! And, we had an outstanding waiter who added to the experience.

Marcus was the perfect server! Never made us feel rushed, but was always there when we needed something. Very friendly. Food was delicious. Tried the tots and actually had to stop conversation with my friend for a minute so that I could enjoy them in peace.

Vegetarian omakase was incredible - applause to having flexibility around ANY food restriction! I loved that my dishes were styled to resemble the chefs omakase that my guests had - however the timing was a little off between their dishes versus mine - our waitress was amazing.

Absolutely the best meal we have had in a very long time. The service, however, was the best EVER! From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us like royalty! 👑 ✨️ Our waiter was welcoming, friendly, attentive, and showed genuine desire to make sure we felt appreciated. By the time we were done with our meal, he felt like a best friend and not just restaurant staff. We have been to all the BIG NAME restaurants in the DFW area... none impressed us like this one did. This is our new go-to for special occasions and that desire fine a dining meal. This was not just a great meal. It was a true culinary experience. We ordered: Cesar salad with the shrimp & scallops entree. Also, the Large Crab Claws with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Baked Alaska desert was awesome as well. Don't miss a chance to eat here, it's truly something special.

Excellent place to dine. David was great in explaining the menu and making suggestions. Antonio the manager stopped by the table and asked what could be improved. So we had a spirited discussion about my sampling of the French fries from my travels over the years. He took seriously my comments about what I’ve learned from chefs coast to coast about how to make the perfect order of fries to pair with a New York strip steak. He told me he would pass my comments on to his chef for considerations. I’ll be back soon!
