Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Welcome to SKÅL Nordic Dining - the neighbourhood Nordic restaurant located in a Grade II listed building at 149 Upper Street - a well-known address for high quality Scandinavian food and drink. Our restaurant SKÅL, meaning ‘Cheers’ in Swedish, opened on the 2nd of December 2019. We serve traditional Nordic recipes but with a modern, seasonal twist - all underpinned by the term 'husmanskost' meaning traditional home cooked Swedish food. Clean, earthy, minimalist interiors set the tone for our customers dining experience with whitewashed walls, wooden table tops and piles of logs stacked up in front of the open kitchen to fuel the grill. Lovely place with gorgeous food. Perhaps a little understaffed on the night although the staff we did meet were really friendly and helpful and the food came quickly once we’d ordered. Five stars!!
