This is the best Japanese menu I have ever had in London. Honestly, such a creative menu, so many fun flavours that hit all the spots with every bite - CRUNCH, FLAVOUR, SALT, SWEET, you name it everything just worked. We chatted with the entire staff and they were lovely. Great chef, personable team and everyone was so passionate and knowledgeable about the menu. Had a great take on a margarita - went down super well, then had a carafe of a perfectly-paired sake which was delicious and refreshing. Highlights were the wagyu beef sliders, the lobster temaki I think it was... honestly we recommended everything we had to the people sitting next to us. The cuts of fish were incredible, and I am still dreaming about that Tuna! honestly 10/10 cannot wait to go back!

A belated Christmas dining gift for my husband. We chose Sola as we’d seen Victor on Masterchef the professionals, and as enthusiastic foodies, we really liked the look of the snacks that he prepared on the show! We were not disappointed!! Fabulous lunch! Highlights were obviously the devilled egg, but really, the whole meal was exquisite! Such beautiful presentation, the whole theatre which we didn’t expect, but absolutely loved!! We also felt very well looked after by the friendly waiting staff and the wonderful sommelier! We’d love to come back and try the evening tasting menu. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where to begin? My husband and I dined here nearly a decade ago. It’s remained a favorite food memory. For his birthday this year, I got tickets to London and made reservations for 2X/day for 7 days via email with the manager. We had so much fun getting to know the food, the hosts, and the servers. We were treated so well. We are from Montana, and we live in a farming and hunting community. The food at St John is local, wholesome, simple but difficult, and oh so tasty and wise. Give it a try!
