Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.

Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. I've been wanting to try the Parakeet for many months and so glad I did it! Probably one the best Sunday roasts in London - both the beef and chicken were cooked to perfection and the trimmings also. A delicious sticky toffee pudding to finish off an incredible meal! I will come back again and again and again!

My friend and I dined here, we really enjoyed it. We want to come back to try more, but the lady who served us (not sure of her name) but all of her recommendations were great. Look forward to coming again.

A really wonderful place! Cool vibe and the interior design was beautiful! The food was great - our favorites were the tacos. We tried the shrimp, black bean and carnitas. Exceeded all expectations. Would recommend!

Experience was outstanding. We were also given a desert for my Wife's Birthday with her name on it. The only thing I did not like is they made me wait 30 minutes which I felt was really frustrating since I made the booking weeks in advance.

This is an amazing restaurant… when we first walked in we thought it could be a little “stuffy” but we were so wrong … all the staff were amazing the service perfect and the food….. every dish was beautiful - even the bread… we would not stop talking about it. Start with the champagne and enjoy Now its to cheap but considering the quality of food and wine we were more then happy with the bill.
