Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.

Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

Third visit to Goldies but this time for lunch. Great atmosphere and laid back vibe. The food just gets better and better. I recommend the corn with the most amazing butter, the delica pumpkin and the chicken. The chips and dips were amazing. Staff were excellent as usual. Can totally recommend.

Arrived at this beautiful restaurant with a booking and even though they were incredibly busy the lovely lady at reception find us a wonderful table close to the fantastic DJ, the service was attentive but not intrusive just as we like it to be, the food was amazing and can definitely recommend the lobster Pasta in particular, excellent value for money too, we will definitely be returning on our next trip and thank you for a wonderful evening xx

Excellent bday celebration. 4th time that we have been. Excellent food, very attentive service from Maria (from Brazill) and her team. I tend to go for my bdays and I am never disappointed. Their taste of Hakkasan deal is also value for money for a restaurant of this calibre. Thank you for making my birthday special.
