Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Portions appear small but are quite filling. The staff is very approachable and attentive. The standouts dishes for us were the rock shrimp tempura and yellowtail sashimi.

The food was outstanding. The Samudri thali, my personal favorite, was a highlight, while the Peshawari kulcha was absolutely delicious and the Murg Makhni was quite good. However, the service could use some improvement and fine-tuning.

C’était mon premier Omakase et ça valait le coup. C’était exceptionnel, les chefs nous expliquaient la provenance de chaque aliments et les préparaient devant nous. Si vous avez l’occasion, il n’y a pas à hésiter. Je vous recommande Juno omakase.
