Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Food was brilliant! This sushi is mouth watering- the specials were amazing. Red snapper carpaccio to tuna truffle tart to the classic menu items of warm mushroom salad to tuna crispy rice to salmon rolls. Lychee martini’s and banana dim sum with chocolate and cream topped off a perfect meal! Service was impeccable, staff warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Our entire experience was amazing! We took our 3 teenagers and they all tried several foods they had never had before. The server was so kind to explain things to them and walk them through the menu. Service was amazing, the food was amazing, the open kitchen made it a more relaxed environment and so cool to watch the chefs. We had such a great night!

We enjoyed a wide variety of foods, starting with the spicy edamame with Peruvian corn which was outstanding. The snapper with the chimichurri sauce was a special and was outstanding. We did the sashimi and sushi plates and added on some rolls. We also had the miso black cod, which we would highly recommend.

Very cool upscale concept. Was decorated beautifully. The food was cooked to perfection. Loved the eggplant I highly recommend. Also ordered a tomahawk steak flavor was so good. One suggestion would be take crispy bits off the tomahawk. It’s presentation would be better. Would definitely return!
