The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". This was probably my fourth time at the restaurant. Love the ambience today and the service was about as good as it gets today. The food is slightly high in pricing but the rustic theme and energy tied with reliably good food makes it a place your can repeatedly enjoy and rely on. I just had a burger and ceasar salad but that along with a great double IPA from a large on tap selection made it just right for lunch with a very good friend. I was seated immediately and the staff led my later arriving to me without a fuss. Parking was ample and access from the beltway was a breeze. Will be coming back.
