We do keep our Bar seats and a table in the restaurant open for people to walk-ins. Walk-ins are on a first come basis. Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. Loved every bite. Interesting and innovative food. I like how you can order a variety of dishes. Especially enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the very skilled staff do their thing. The halibut was the best I’ve ever eaten! Thank you, Chef!

We got a seat at the bar ordered cocktails and small dishes. Everything was uniformly excellent. The barkeeper was knowledgeable and made a beautifully balanced Manhattan. The small dishes recommonded were all tasty and of high quality. Overall the only reason to dock a star is that Nobu is expensive (big surprise). But if you are not cost sensitive, then this is an excellent place for high quality drinks and light dishes. Recommended.

Our server, Ella, was fantastic as always. The seasonal menu hit the spot with some new items that were different from when we ate last time. The stick toffee pudding for dessert was delicious. Can’t wait to go back again and try more items on the menu.

Beautiful environment, our steaks were delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection ! The lamb kebabs were the best we’ve had in a long time …..Miguel our waiter was very attentive, he even offered to decant our bottle of wine that we brought. I would highly recommend this restaurant, It’s quite special !!!
