Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club celebrates its place as the best oceanfront dining experience in the Miami Beaches. The Surf Club's once fabled ballroom, is now a destination for thoughtful Italian culinary; from crudos including Tonno al Tartufo Nero, made-in house pastas like Pacchero "alla Lido", to famed entrées like Branzino al Vapore.On Sundays we offer a Brunch Buffet experience with available seating on the Oceanfront Terrace or inside the Champagne Bar. Other than having to wait in a line to let them know we had arrived on for our reservation (an extremely stressful frustrating and negative customer experience ) once seated everything else was top shelf.

Makoto is my favorite restaurant! The food is always delicious! The only thing I wish they could improve, is the noise level. When it gets crowded, it is pretty loud. I went there for my friend’s birthday and we both loved it and had a wonderful time! I highly recommend it!

It was our second visit, and the food was excellent! Just as I remembered from last time! The fries they offer instead of bread are such a good treat! The Bone in Ribeye was cooked to perfection… the service was very attentive, and Mauricio the sommelier was very knowledgeable and pleasant! Overall a great experience

Wonderful service and food was very good. Waiter knew we were one and done visitors but still treated us as locals who had been going there for years. This is a definite place to stop for good Italian food and excellent service. Mind you this is not the best Italian food I have had but it was fresh, good portions and great tasting.
