The name "Hakkasan" pays homage to the ‘Hakka’ people from the New Territories of Hong Kong while ‘san’ is the respectful Japanese form of address. Every time we visit Miami Hakkasan is the first restaurant that we have a wonderful dinner at. Last night we tried a different dish for us the udon noodles with duck and it was delicious and an old standby that we love, which is the shrimp fried rice and the cocktails as always were amazing. Ken was our server and he did a great job. Will be back many many more times to come

The menu seems to change fairly frequently, so the waitstaff don't know what is available, and items on the menu are often not actually available. But the food we did get was good, and the ambience was nice
