Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Very nice place for our anniversary dinner. The room we were sat in was a bit noisy but we managed. My martini was ordered up with olives on the side, I think the olives were put in it due to the taste but I worked through it. We both ordered med rare filets but mine ended up more towards medium. Other than those small issues, had an enjoyable evening.

Dinner was delightful. The beet salad was amazing ( and I usually don’t like beets). The mushroom paprikas was so delicious and rich. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection (Al dente of course) Highly recommend everything on the menu.
