Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. We had the pre-show dinner for two. We sat at the bar. Seating was comfy, service was excellent and fast, food was amazing. Value was reasonable, even got 10% off as we had proof of show tickets.

We tried this restaurant for the first time before going to the theatre and we will definitely come back. Such a nice little place with an open kitchen, lots of seating and really good service. We asked to be out in an hour and 15 min and the food came promptly so we had plenty of time to make our show. The food was also really good. Insalatta Princiipesa was a great size salad and really good for sharing. We each ordered a different pasta and all four were so unique and delicious. Highly recommend Tutti Matti!

We had a lovely time at Lucie. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was just amazing. Every bite was delightful. I especially loved the bison on the tasting menu. Thanks for a great meal!

The crab carbonara was terrible. The restaurant was the quietest I’ve ever seen - and yet we had to chase our server. I usually love that place but yesterday they fell flat.
