Gwen is both a European-style, chef-driven butcher shop and a restaurant that is redefining dining in LA, with a menu that calls on fire-based cooking techniques. Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences. We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails. AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. In the event of rain, we will notify you as soon as possible to communicate any weather related cancellations and to assist you with rescheduling your reservation. Beginning November 4th, a.o.c. will require that all guests require proof of vaccination or negative results from a Covid test taken within 72 hours of entry.

    From check-in to checkout, everything was seamless. Server and managers touched the table multiple times. Food came out fast. The best items were the wagyu teppanyaki and the whole snapper. I thought music was gonna be loud but it was just perfect volume but then we came in at 5pm on Saturday night so everything and everyone was still family-friendly.

    The plants throughout and staffs uniforms give the entire place a warm earthy vibe. We dined for valentines, and each plate was thoughtfully put together. From the amuse to dessert, each plate was perfect in portion and mouthfeel. My favorite was the beet agnolotti, which surprised and delighted me with a dehydrated beet crunch. My partner’s favorite dish was the main course steak, which featured a savory and craveable truffle sauce. Our special mention goes to the beefsteak tomato milk bread. The buttery crunch of the edge pieces left me wanting another to take home. Our server was perfectly attentive and always timely with our drinks. It was a truly wonderful experience and I will be recommending to friends.
