Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes. The global cuisine experiments with a bevy of different flavors including unique items such as Grilled Panzanella Salad (jumbo lump crab, toasted focaccia, local goat cheese, pistachios, plum wine vinaigrette), Kobe Beef Sliders (seared foie gras, pomme frittes). We're confident you wont get bored with our selections; we will be serving a rotating seasonal menu with daily specials. The One Barrel standards will allow nothing less than fresh, high-quality offerings, including Colorado ingredients as much as possible. Due to Covid-19 we will do our best to have all we can in stock but our menu will be limited and on first come first serve. We are taking safety precautions very seriously and asks all our guests to do the same. We're now open for lunch during the week, happy hour and dinner. We had a fabulous evening with Caitlin as our waitress extraordinaire. She always makes us feel like we are a special guest. She also makes sure that our meal is exactly the way we love to have it. We love Culinary Dropouts.

We live out of state and wanted to take my mom out to a great dinner while we were in Denver. We went there with high expectations based on the reviews and my wife being from northern Italy and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. Our tajarin con conigelio was one if the highlights of the evening.
