We are a New York steakhouse with a twist. Our Executive Chef is the only one in Southern Connecticut to use the old world technique of skillet cooking; producing the most perfectly cooked steak. Amazing dinner and drinks with friends. Ambience is lively but not food loud. Food and drinks were spectacular. Definitely try the slab bacon appetizer!

Wonderful example of what an old fashioned Italian restaurant should be. Founded 1938, welcoming, friendly, everyone (and us) having a great time, great (no excellent) food, Very few modestly priced Italian restaurants are worth a special detour but this is definitely one

My shrimp and linguine meal was excellent. The server was attentive and the price was typical for New Haven. My son had the baked chicken and enjoyed it.

Enjoyed our visit there before a show at Shubert. Menu was not extensive but what we had was good - chicken and waffle app, sliders, beef ragu (definitely big enough to share). Would skip the onion rings next time. I would go back again and try other menu items
