Inspired by the brilliant and fast-paced culinary scene in Jalisco, the restaurant captures the serendipitous connections created when culture, food, tequila and art merge into one experience. Jose’s vibrant story comes to life at every table through its chef-driven plates, craft cocktails, the ceramics crafted by its renowned namesake, José Noe Suro of Ceramica Suro and the hand-drawn mural adorning the walls with scenes of Guadalajara and Tequila, which was a collaboration between Suro and Dallas-based designer and artist Megan Reinhardt. More than a restaurant, José is a community with authentically innovative Mexican food at its heart. Helmed by award-winning Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman, José’s culinary program is seasonal, inspired and ever evolving.

Shinsei Restaurant - Traditional Sushi / Contemporary Asian KitchenWhen we came up with the concept of Shinsei we wanted a place that reflected our lifestyles: sometimes we went out to dinner with our kids and sometimes with our friends and husbands. We wanted to create a place where a night out with the kids didn’t mean food adults had to suffer through or a night out with the parents didn’t mean a stuffy place where kids had to wear a scratchy clip-on tie.     Dinner was wonderful as usual. Cassidy was our adorable and knowledgeable server that made it a fun night. Tried the Tuna Poke for the first time. Wow! What a hidden surprise. I guess it’s always been there, I just never saw it. The Halibut was outstanding. Dessert and Espresso just made it complete. Never disappoints!

    We arrived early, so we got drinks at the bar and sat by the fireplace while we waited. The blended rye old fashioned was delicious! Once sat, our waiter David greeted us and his recommendations were great! We had the onion rings to start and they were PERFECT! We both ordered the 13oz ribeye which were cooked to perfection as well! Last, but surely not least, we had the pecan pie for dessert. The crust of the pie is cinnamon rolls! That dessert was outstandingly good and sweet! We will return for round two very soon!

    Always a special experience at Pappas Bros. Attentive bar tenders while enjoying drinks before dinner, an extensive wine list, a wide variety of appetizer choices, delicious dry aged steaks and enormous deserts. What makes it even better is the service form one of the best waiters around, Scott Kline. Be sure to ask for Scott when you dine at Pappas Bros. You won't be disappointed.

    Food was fantastic, every ingredient had a purpose and a unique blend, easily the best Latino/hispanic themed restaurant I have experienced in 25+ years as an adult who spent many years working in the front and back of house in restaurants
